Ensis has been working with industry to find practical solutions to common drying problems since 1989. The Wood Drying Multiclient group is a powerful research tool, delivering real benefits to its members. Research topics are suggested and ranked by member companies, ensuring that the research is always into the areas of most concern in timber drying. All results from the research are confidential to the members for two years, allowing them to gain a competitive edge over non-member companies. Members attend meetings twice yearly, where results are presented. These meetings also include technical presentations, field trips to local industries, and informal time to meet and network with others within the timber drying industry. Members come from New Zealand and Australia, as well as North and South America, bringing a diverse range of ideas and drying practices together.
