Organisational Information
Ensis represents a bold initiative in research provision. This research collaboration brings together the leading forestry research capabilities in Australia and New Zealand to create a research network of global scale.
An innovative concept, Ensis was the first major trans-Tasman (Government-owned) unincorporated joint venture (which changed to a collaboration agreement on 1st of January 2008) where science delivery capacity was integrated into one operation. With virtual teams operating across 8 sites in two different countries, Ensis is now a research network that allows effective delivery broad reaching benefits to its clients and stakeholders.
